Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro could be launched very soon as live images of the smartphone have now been leaked online. It has been less than six months since the arrival of Redmi Note 7 Pro, but the company seems to have already finalised the design and other elements of the Note 8 Pro. As you can see in the image, the Note 8 Pro houses triple cameras on the back and there seems to be a flashy green coloured variant of the smartphone, similar to the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Ocean Green colour variant. Xiaomi did not reveal anything about the Redmi Note 8 Pro, but the company did confirm on Weibo that the phone is in the works alongside the Redmi Note 8. The Redmi Note 8 will most likely be announced on August 29 at the company's major event in China where it will also be taking wraps of a massive 75-inch Redmi TV.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Arriving Soon: What We Know So Far?

In the past, Xiaomi employees spoke about the Redmi Note 8 smartphone saying that it will have a 64MP camera sensor and fast charging support. However, we haven't seen any official news regarding the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone until now. Last year's Redmi Note 5 Pro was first launched in India and the same case goes with Redmi Note 7 Pro as well. That being said, we might see the Redmi Note 8 Pro making its global debut in India and reaching other countries including China at a later date, which could be the reason behind the lack of official words from the Xiaomi employees.

Going by this leaked image, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro will not feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and it will have the good-old rear-mounted scanner sitting below the triple rear cameras. The Note 8 Pro will offer three cameras on the back which will be an upgrade from the dual cameras we saw on the Note 7 Pro. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is the best camera phone you can purchase under Rs 15,000 right now, so the Note 8 Pro has some big shoes to fill.

The Note 8 Pro in the image can be seen in a green colour which is pretty much identical to the Ocean Green colour variant of the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom model. It's also said that the Note 8 Pro will arrive in unique colours compared to the current generation smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Launching on August 29 in China

As mentioned above, Xiaomi has scheduled a TV launch event in China on August 29, where we might see the Redmi Note 8 making its debut. Xiaomi employees spoke a lot about the Note 8 on Weibo confirming that the device will offer 64MP rear camera, bigger battery compared to its predecessor and higher screen-to-body ratio. Furthermore, leaked images of the Redmi Note 8 also reveal that the handset may feature triple rear cameras, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, glass body and a fingerprint scanner on the back similar to the Redmi Note 7.

Right now, we don't have any hardware information of the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, but we all know that they'll offer the best hardware in the segment.
