Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro Shows Up on Chinese Listing Website, Launch Likely in a Few Months

The Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi is all set to launch its upcoming flagship phone, the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro in India sometime around the second week of next month. However, the flagship series of Xiaomi will be a different thing altogether; it is actually the affordable phones from Xiaomi which the public looks forward to. As such, there is news about a new phone from Xiaomi, and it is likely to be the Redmi 7 Pro. To recall, Xiaomi had launched the Redmi 6 Pro last year around September, and now we might be close to the launch of the Redmi 7 Pro in India.




Redmi 7 Pro 3C Website Listing Details

This news comes courtesy of a spotting on the Chinese 3C website, where a new Xiaomi device has been spotted, and it is likely to be the Redmi 7 Pro. The 3C website reveals some of the limited details about the device. For example, the phone that we are talking about has been listed with a model number M1906F9SC along with a 10W charger. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Redmi 7 Pro, like its predecessor, the Redmi 6 Pro will be a budget-friendly device aimed at mid-range phone buyers.

Redmi 7 Pro to Take the Reins Forward from Redmi 6 Pro

It is also worth noting that Xiaomi had introduced the Redmi 6 Pro in India back in September last year and the phone had a price tag of Rs 10,999 for the base 3GB RAM/32GB storage model, whereas the 4GB/64GB storage variant of the phone had debuted with a price tag of Rs 12,999. However, as we near to the launch of other phones, Xiaomi has decreased the price of these variants to Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM model of the phone and down to Rs 9,999 for the 4GB RAM model of the phone.

Redmi 6 Pro Features and Specs

The Redmi 7 Pro is undoubtedly be going to be a better device as compared to Redmi 6 Pro, and it will ship with improvements in all areas. To recall, the Redmi 6 Pro was the first phone with a notch that Xiaomi had introduced in India. The phone had debuted with a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Redmi 6 Pro packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 624 SoC, and it pairs up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is also a slot for micro-SD card, so in case users feel that they are running out of storage, then they can expand it.

As for camera and imaging, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 12MP camera sensor paired with Sony IMX486 with 1.25-micron pixels and a 5MP camera with Samsung sensor. Whereas on the front side, the phone sports a 5MP sensor paired with AI portrait mode. Besides, the phone comes with a massive 4000mAh battery which can last for two days straight.
