If there is one thing that we know about Reliance Jio GigaFiber it is that the service is going to be a gamechanger in its segment. We are already seeing other broadband players like ACT Fibernet, Airtel V Fiber and more ramping up their efforts in an attempt to lure more and more subscribers for their services prior to the launch of GigaFiber. In the last few months, we have come to know a lot about what Reliance Jio GigaFiber will offer and even some speculations about the pricing and plans. However, what is not yet known is the actual commercial launch date of Reliance Jio GigaFiber. But, the Annual General Meeting 2019 of Reliance Industries is just right around the corner, and we expect the company to make some big announcements related to Reliance Jio in the event.

Reliance Jio Annual General Meeting 2019

Like we mentioned above, Reliance Industries are going to schedule their Annual General Meeting 2019 a few weeks from now. To recall, it was in the last Annual General Meeting (AGM) of 2018 when Reliance had unveiled GigaFiber. However, the service was still in talks then and hadn’t undergone beta testing. Now, as the Beta testing phase of GigaFiber concludes, we expect Reliance Jio to finally give a formal launch to the service during AGM 2019 along with pricing and subscription plans for the customers.

Reliance Jio Triple Play Plan

Until now, we know that Reliance Jio is shipping the Triple Play Plan for its users under the testing phase. The subscribers of GigaFiber in metro cities are availing the Triple Plan which is likely to cost Rs 600 per month to the subscribers, and it will offer 100 Mbps broadband along with 1000GB of bonus data in 40GB vouchers. Also, subscribers will get the Jio GigaTV service and landline service as well thus constituting the three service under the Triple Play moniker.

Two Subscription Options for Reliance Jio GigaFiber Subscribers

Also, Reliance Jio has been giving two subscription options to the subscribers. The first one is available for Rs 4,500 which will avail a single band router to the customers availing them up to 100 Mbps speed, and the other option is of Rs 2,500 which will avail them speeds up to 50 Mbps.

It is also being expected that Reliance Jio will repeat what it did with its 4G launch in the case of Reliance Jio GigaFiber. The telecom operator is already offering preview offer, and it will avail its services at a very affordable cost. The speed and the data which Reliance Jio will provide for its broadband customer will also be an attraction for the users. Reliance Jio is also planning on launching its Jio HomeTV, which will be an IPTV service for the users. This service will be available for the users who opt for it.
