Realme has witnessed an overwhelming response during the Flipkart Big Billion Days as the company sold over one million units during the sale. For the unaware, Flipkart Big Billion Days kickstarted on October 11 (12:00 AM) and continued until October 14 (11:59 PM), during which a lot of users purchased the Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro and the Realme C1. Notably, these numbers are for the three smartphones mentioned above because the Realme 1 is an Amazon Exclusive smartphone. After the launch of Realme 2, the company stopped selling the Realme 1's 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. During the Amazon Great Indian sale, the Realme 1's 6GB+128GB storage option was available at a price of Rs 12,990, making the cheapest 6GB RAM phone on the portal.
Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1 are the Two New Launches
Realme did not reveal which smartphone it sold the most during the sale, but the new launches are Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1. The Realme C1 was launched at a super aggressive price of Rs 6,999 and it's the cheapest smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The Realme 2 Pro, on the other hand, is available at a starting price of Rs 13,990 and it's the cheapest phone with Snapdragon 660 chipset.
The immense success of these smartphones is pricing. Since its inception, Realme has been pricing its smartphones aggressively in order to take on Xiaomi' smartphones. The Realme 2 Pro is aimed at the Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro and betters them both in the price-to-performance ratio.
Realme Has the Fastest Growing Family
Realme sold over five lakh units of Realme 1 in five months after the launch, but its second smartphone, the Realme 2 sold in a large number. Realme announced that it managed to sell over five lakh units of Realme 2 in just one month of launch, which took its user base to over one million. With the new announcement, Realme officially confirmed that it now has over two million users, and has the fastest growing family right now.
Realme 2 Pro: Specifications and Features
The Realme 2 Pro is the talk of the town right now as it sports excellent hardware for the asking price. The phone flaunts a 6.3-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and waterdrop notch. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, clubbed with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Notably, it's the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 660 SoC and 8GB of RAM.
The phone comes armed with a 3500mAh battery but lacks fast charging support. It comes in three colour options- Black, Deep Blue and Light Blue.
