Realme 5s will feature an HD+ display like the Realme 5 and not a Full HD+ screen like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. The Flipkart teaser page of Realme 5s has been updated again and it now says the phone will have a 6.51-inch HD+ display, like the Realme 5. Other confirmed features of the Realme 5s include 5000mAh battery and quad-camera setup with a primary 48MP lens that replaces the 16MP sensor we get on the Realme 5. As of now, we don't have the pricing details of the Realme 5s, but we're expecting it to cost Rs 9,999 in the country. The Oppo spin-off may announce a permanent price cut on the Realme 5 on the November 20 and it could retail at Rs 8,999 going forward.

Realme 5s Confirmed Features: What You Need to Know

The Realme 5s will be exactly similar to the Realme 5, albeit the 48MP primary lens. To recall, the Realme 5 also featured a quad-camera setup, but the configuration was different (16MP+8MP+2MP+2MP). For now, it's already confirmed that the Realme 5s will have a 48MP primary camera in place of the 16MP sensor. The other three sensors on the Realme 5s may also be identical to the Realme 5- an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The 48MP sensor which Realme 5s will have could be the Samsung ISOCELL GM1, similar to the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 7s. Notably, this could be the first Realme phone to come with the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor.

Other features of the Realme 5s include 5000mAh battery and 6.51-inch HD+ display. That being said, other specs of the Realme 5s will be very much identical to the Realme 5. The phone will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 13MP selfie camera and a dedicated microSD card slot. The Realme 5s may not feature the USB Type-C port as the specs are pretty much identical to the Realme 5.

To compete with the Redmi Note 8 better, Realme may launch the 4GB+64GB variant of the Realme 5s at Rs 9,999. For the unaware, the Redmi Note 8's base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at Rs 9,999 in India, whereas the 6GB+128GB variant comes at Rs 12,999.

Realme X2 Pro and Realme X2 India Launch on November 20

On November 20, Realme is holding its biggest launch event ever as the company is expected to launch three new smartphones and other accessories. The Realme X2 series including the Realme X2 and the X2 Pro are all set to launch in India alongside the Realme 5s. The Realme X2 Pro featuring 90Hz display could well be the cheapest phone in India with a high refresh rate panel. The Realme X2 is aimed at taking on the Redmi K20, but its primary competitor will be the Redmi Note 8 Pro because the latter has MediaTek Helio G90T which delivers on-par gaming performance as Snapdragon 730G that powers the Realme X2 or Realme XT 730G.

Notably, Realme is yet to officially tease the Realme XT 730G's launch on November 20, but we're expecting it to be announced on the same day. Expected prices of the Realme XT 730G are Rs 21,999 for the base variant and Rs 24,999 for the high-end variant. The Realme X2 Pro will likely start at Rs 29,999 in the country. In other news, Xiaomi may announce permanent price cuts on Redmi K20 series next week.
