In less than eight months of inception, Realme, the sub-brand of Oppo has garnered a lot of popularity owing to the four affordable smartphones. Now the CEO of Realme, Madhav Sheth, took to Twitter and confirmed that the company would be rolling out a new software update to the Realme 2 Pro in less than a week with improvements to the selfie camera and battery while gaming. Several Realme 2 Pro users are complaining about the poor front and rear camera performance on the Realme 2 Pro and the good news is the update is coming very soon with fixes. This tweet was posted by the CEO on Sunday stating that the update will be rolled out in a week’s time, so expect it to be rolled out by the end of this week.

Realme 2 Pro: Issues Faced by the Users
The Realme 2 Pro is one of the best value for money smartphones available right now, but as seen with many other phones launching these days, the software seems to be half-baked. There are several issues faced by the users with the primary one being the overexposure on both front and rear camera images. Next problem is the navigation gestures aren’t that smooth as we saw on Xiaomi smartphones.
As the CEO posted on Twitter, another issue which is faced by several users is battery optimisation. Some users on Twitter posted that the battery drains very quickly even when the camera app is opened, and while gaming, it drains even more. Lastly, as seen with various Oppo smartphones in the past, the Realme 2 Pro is also suffering memory management issues, thanks to the ColorOS software which takes up 2GB RAM just for system services. And some users are even facing overheating issues while gaming. Even the Realme 1’s 3GB RAM variant faced memory management issues when it launched.
