Rcom reduces validity and data offering for Rs. 248 2G data pack

Recently we shared with you how Reliance communications had reduced the validity of 3G vouchers in Mumbai.  Now it has extended this to 2G vouchers as well. Rcom has reduced the validity of Rs. 248 2G data voucher in Mumbai circle from 60 days to 45 days, also the pack used to offer true unlimited 2G data but now offers only 45GB with free whatsapp, facebook and twitter.

Reliance is silently hiking the data tariffs by reducing the validity and bundled data offering of its data packs. Rcom is facing the burden of increased debt post the spectrum auction and is looking at options to increase cash influx which include tariff hikes and liquidation of non core businesses and real estate holdings.
