POCO, a Chinese phone maker, has confirmed the launch of POCO Pad 5G in India. This new tablet from the company will launch in India on August 23, 2024. This means we are only about a week away from the official launch of the POCO Pad 5G in India. It looks like it will be an affordable product competing with the Redmi Pad Pro 5G in India. The photo which was shared by POCO shows that the tablet will come with a magnetic keyboard and a stylus.

POCO Pad 5G will come with a large 12.1-inch display with support for 120Hz refresh rate. The display will support a peak brightness of 600nits and have an 8:5 aspect ratio. The screen will also have TUV Rheinland triple certification. POCO Pad 5G has already launched for the global market. The specifications of the Indian and the global variants are expected to be similar.

Thus, we can expect this tablet to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The tablet runs on Android 14-based HyperOS. The POCO Pad 5G also comes with an 8MP camera on the front on the back in the global variant.
There is likely going to be a 10000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast-charging support. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2.
