After more than three years, Oppo has launched a flagship product in the Indian market, and it's none other than the Oppo Find X, which was unveiled at a special event in Paris last month. Oppo hasn't made any changes to the hardware of the Indian version of Find X as it boasts the same 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, Snapdragon 845 SoC, motorised cameras and VOOC charging. Oppo' smartphones were never value for money products, at least in India, and the Find X joins the league now. The Oppo Find X will retail for a steep price of Rs 59,999 starting August 3 exclusively on Flipkart and major offline stores. The phone can be purchased in two colour options- Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue.

Oppo Find X Specifications and Features

The Find X turned a lot of heads with its innovative design. To achieve the insane 93.6% screen-to-body ratio, Oppo has gone with a motorised mechanical part that houses the front and rear cameras. The mechanical part slides from the top whenever you want to access the 3D Facial recognition technology which helps in unlocking the device, or it slides up when the camera application is clicked on the handset. Unlike Vivo Nex which just houses the front-facing camera in the mechanical part, the Oppo Find X's mechanical part consists both the front and rear cameras. The smartphone rocks dual cameras on the rear- a primary 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture works in tandem with a 20MP secondary unit which collects depth information. To the front of the phone, there's a 25MP shooter

The Oppo Find X flaunts a 6.42-inch Super AMOLED display carrying a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Both the front and rear panels are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 technology. Under the hood, the Find X has the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, which we have seen on other smartphones such as OnePlus 6 and the Asus Zenfone 5Z. The Find X lacks a fingerprint scanner, meaning you've to rely on the 3D scanning technology or the inbuilt pattern/PIN code locking mechanisms.

Oppo has launched only one variant of the Find X in India, and that's the 8GB RAM version with 256GB of internal storage. The device boots Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box. Lastly, the phone is backed by a 3730mAh battery with Oppo’s VOOC charging technology.

Flipkart will start taking pre-orders for the Oppo Find X starting July 25. For the users who pre-orders the smartphone, Flipkart will be giving a Rs 3,000 gift voucher.
