Oppo R17 Pro With Triple Rear Cameras Coming to India on December 4

Oppo has launched some great smartphones in India this year. The company has now decided to bring its R series to India. Oppo has announced to launch the R17 Pro in India next month, on December 4 at an event scheduled to happen in Mumbai. The company has sent out media invites for the Oppo R17 Pro India launch event on Thursday. Notably, the smartphone has already been launched in several markets and is finally heading to India. We expect the same global variant of the phone to come to India.

The key highlights of the Oppo R17 Pro are that the phone comes with a waterdrop-style notched display and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone much like some of the recently launched Oppo phones come with Super VOOC charging support. In other markets, the Oppo R17 Pro comes in 8GB of RAM model, and the same is expected to happen in India as well.

Oppo R17 Pro: Specifications and Features

We already know everything about the R17 Pro. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. The phone also sports a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. On the hardware front, the Oppo R17 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The phone comes in only one variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. On the software front, the Oppo R17 Pro runs ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. Apart from water drop notch display, the Oppo R 27 Pro also has another key highlight that is the triple camera setup.

The phone comes with a camera setup of 12MP sensor with f/1.5-2.4 variable aperture, a 20MP sensor with f/2.6 aperture, and a third TOF 3D stereo camera. While on the front the phone sports a 25MP selfie camera. The Oppo R17 Pro is backed by a 3700mAh battery paired with Super VOOC fast charging technology. The phone also comes with in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Oppo R17 Pro: Expected Pricing and Availability

Oppo R17 Pro is coming to India on December 4. In China, the phone is launched with a price tag of CNY 4,299, which is roughly around Rs 44,100. Oppo is yet to reveal the India price of the phone, but we expect the phone to cost under Rs 40,000 in India and with that take on the likes of OnePlus 6T.
