Chinese smartphone vendor, Oppo has launched a new colour version of its popular Oppo F3 smartphone in India today. The new colour option is priced at Rs. 19,990, same as other colour choices. Will Yang, Brand Director, OPPO India commented on the launch of the Rose Gold variant of OPPO F3 “By launching the OPPO F3 Rose Gold Version, we aim to offer our Indian consumer an outstanding confluence of fashion and technology where exquisite design meets innovative camera technology. We have received a tremendous response for OPPO F3, especially from the younger audience. So, we decided to surprise them with a fashionable and trendier variant of the OPPO F3.”

The Oppo F3 (First Impressions) is the cheapest smartphone in the market right with a dual front-facing camera. Oppo has added two sensors of 16MP and 8MP. The former captures standard RGB shots, while the latter captures wide-angle selfies or to be precise group selfies. There's a 13MP rear camera with Dual PDAF, LED flash. Both the front camera and rear camera can record 1080p videos.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 2.5D curved glass. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 technology. Under the hood, the Oppo F3 has a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T chipset, along with Mali T86-MP2 GPU for graphic intensive tasks.

The chipset is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Sadly, the Oppo F3 still runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based ColorUI 3.0 and draws the blood from a 3200mAh battery, which also supports Oppo's VOOC charging technology.

The phone comes with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB port, and GPS. The device also has a fingerprint scanner embedded into its home button.
