Oppo F3 With Dual Front-Facing Cameras Launched in India at Rs. 19,990

Oppo has been teasing the launch of its latest selfie expert, the Oppo F3 for over two weeks now. The company, at an event, today in Mumbai pulled the wraps of Oppo F3. To recall, Oppo was rumored to launch the F3 alongside the Oppo F3 Plus in March, but that didn’t happen for obvious reasons.

A couple of days ago, we reported the complete specifications of the Oppo F3 which surfaced online and the official specs are in-line with the rumored ones. The Oppo F3 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 technology on top.

The company did not announce the chipset used on the phone, but going by the rumors, it should be the octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

As touted by the company, the Oppo F3 comes with dual front-facing cameras with two sensors: a16MP and 8MP. The former captures standard RGB images, while the latter captures 120 -degree wide angle shots. At the back, there’s a 13MP sensor with PDAF, larger 1.3-inch sensor, and f/2.0 aperture.

The F3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Color OS 3.0, and Oppo is pre-installing a new app store called as Oppo App Store in the F3 in particular for the Indian market.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB port. Powering the entire package is a 3,200mAh battery. The Oppo F3 is priced at Rs. 19,990 and comes in only one variant. Pre-orders for the phone will start from today and continue till May 13. The first sale of the device will happen on May 13.

Besides this, Oppo has also unveiled a limited edition variant of the phone in Matte Black colour, whose details are unknown. It will go on sale before the Champions Trophy which commences on June 1. The smartphone also comes with BCCI logo at the back.
