OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition Will Be Up for Sale in India Starting December 15

Chinese company OnePlus which recently announced the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition at the Comic-Con event in Bangalore has now revealed more details about the limited edition smartphone. OnePlus officially confirmed that the launch of the Star Wars edition is scheduled for December 14, and the device will be available for purchase starting December 15.


OnePlus is yet to reveal the price of the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition, which is expected to be announced at the December 14 event. Like the OnePlus 5T event, OnePlus fans interested in watching the 5T Star wars edition launch event can book the event tickets on Paytm, starting December 7, 2017, 10 AM onwards.

The screening of the launch event will take place at IMAX Wadala in Mumbai. And the cost of per ticket is Rs 999, which is ten times higher than the previous OnePlus 5T launch tickets. "This association is a first step in celebrating this milestone together with our community in India. OnePlus and Star Wars fans can be a part of the launch event in Mumbai by booking the tickets for Rs. 999 only on Paytm, starting 7th Dec from 10 am onwards," said OnePlus in a press statement.

Aforesaid, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition will on sale starting December 15 across all channels including, and OnePlus experience zones in Bangalore and Noida.

The launch date was a much-expected one because the Star Wars: The Last Jedi is slated for a global release on December 15. For the unaware, OnePlus has collaborated with Walt Disney owned Star Wars franchise to launch this OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition. Do make a note that the limited edition will be available in only limited quantities.

Speaking more about the limited edition OnePlus 5T, it comes with a white back along with the Star Wars logo printed in Red colour at the bottom. The device looks stunning, and the alert slider also gets a Red paint job. It is also rumoured that the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition would be an exclusive to the Indian market, however, with OnePlus holding a simultaneous launch event, the device might be launched in countries such as the US.

The price of the limited edition is expected to remain the same at Rs 37,999 for the premium 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option because the device might be available in just the premium variant.
