OnePlus 5, 5T Picks Up Stable Android 9 Pie Update via OxygenOS 9.0.0

As it promised a couple of months ago, Chinese handset maker OnePlus is now rolling out stable Android 9 Pie update to the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. Do make a note that this is a stable update being rolled out in batches to all the OnePlus 5 and 5T users out there. To recall, OnePlus rolled out Android 9 Pie-based Open Beta update to both the smartphones just two weeks back. Yesterday, it released a bug fixing Open Beta update to both the phones alongside rolling out the stable build. Post the update, the OnePlus 5 and 5T smartphones will be pushed to OxygenOS 9.0.0 version- in-line with Android 9 version number. As noted, the update is rolled out in batches, so there are fewer chances of everyone getting it right now.
