There are many smartphones in the global market which have a 200MP sensor onboard, so this won't be something new. However, it will be new for the OnePlus devices.

This would also make the OnePlus 16 a notable upgrade over the OnePlus 15 (in case the 200MP sensor is true). There are also rumours online which suggest that the OnePlus 16 could feature a camera system which is the same as the OPPO Find N6. Now the OPPO Find N6 is expected to come with a triple-camera system where there are two 50MP and a 200MP sensor along with a 2MP multisspectral sensor to improve colour accuracy and colour quality.

OnePlus 16 is also expected to come with a flat display and feature support for 165Hz refresh rate. We could also see a much large 9000mAh battery, which would be super cool.
