Nokia 5.1 Plus 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM Models Launched in India: Specs, Price and Launch Offers

HMD Global has launched two new variants of the Nokia 5.1 Plus in India. The new models come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. To recollect, the Nokia 5.1 Plus was launched in India last year in only one variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The new 4GB+64GB storage model of the Nokia 5.1 Plus has been launched for Rs 14,499 in India. On the other hand, the Nokia 5.1 Plus 6GB+64GB storage variant has been priced at Rs 16,499. Both the new models of the Nokia 5.1 Plus will be available for buying across online stores starting February 7, while on offline stores the models will be in stock starting February 12.




Nokia 5.1 Plus New Models Launched by HMD Global

Notably, the new Nokia 5.1 Plus models are almost the same as far as the specifications are concerned. The only areas where the new and old models of the Nokia 5.1 Plus differ are RAM and storage departments. The new Nokia 5.1 Plus 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/64GB storage variants will be available in three colours including -- Gloss Black, Gloss White, and Gloss Midnight Blue. Both the models will be available on online stores starting February 7 while the phones can be bought from offline stores starting February 12.

Buying the new Nokia 5.1 Plus during the initial sales, users will be able to get access to several launch offers. Airtel prepaid users will receive Rs 2,000 instant cashback and 240GB of extra data for 12 months on plans including Rs 199, Rs 249, and Rs 448. This offer is applicable on all the Nokia 5.1 Plus models.

Nokia 5.1 Plus: Specifications and Features

As far as the specs are concerned, the Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with a 5.86-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass protection and screen resolution 720x1520 pixels. On the hardware front, the Nokia 5.1 Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz now paired with up to 64GB storage and 6GB RAM. The storage can be expanded up to 400GB via microSD card. The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with dual-SIM and Dual 4G VoLTE support.

On the camera front, the Nokia 5.1 Plus includes two cameras on the back and a single camera on the front. On the rear panel, the Nokia 5.1 Plus consists of a primary sensor of 13MP with an f/2.0 lens while the secondary camera includes a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Nokia 5.1 Plus includes an 8MP camera sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens for clicking selfies. The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, and some other connectivity options. The phone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is backed by a 3060mAh battery.
