Nokia 5.1 Plus Joins the List of Devices to Get Android 9 Pie

The Nokia 5.1 Plus is one of the best smartphones from the house of HMD Global. It’s a rebranded version of Nokia X5 which also got the Pie update earlier this week. HMD announced the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus both in India at the same time back in August this year. While the Nokia 6.1 Plus received the Pie update back in September itself, the Nokia 5.1 Plus is receiving it starting today.

HMD Global is pushing the Pie update to Nokia 5.1 Plus starting today and the rollout will take place in batches. The update brings all the Android Pie features such as adaptive brightness, adaptive battery, App Actions, Digital Wellbeing, revamped Settings application, redesigned quick tiles and notification shade, and so on. As of now, we did not get the update on our Nokia 5.1 Plus, but again, the rollout happens in a phased manner, so keep checking for the update every now and then manually.
