Following BSNL's footsteps in upgrading broadband data speeds, another PSU telecom unit, MTNL has now revised all its broadband plans with upgraded data speeds of 2Mbps in Delhi.
A few days back, we had reported that MTNL upgraded Broadband packs with extra data to FUP limit in Mumbai. However, unlike what they did in Mumbai, MTNL has increased download speeds till FUP in Delhi. This revision came when the company is losing out customers to rivals Airtel and other broadband providers. Mainly they have revised ADSL broadband plans.
We would like you to check out the details from the chart that is embedded below.

Note that the both, existing and new MTNL Delhi users, will get revised speeds while browsing. However, this revision doesn't improve these plans because of the FUP limit. So, we don't think this will help the operator to winning back users from other networks. Private broadband operators are providing better speeds, good consistency, and quality services, so MTNL will have to outdo these private operators in order to win back customers.
