Motorola unveils the Moto X Style in 16GB/32GB storage variants in India, starting at Rs. 29,999

As we reported earlier, Motorola finally got its much-awaited Moto X Style to Indian shores. At an event today in New Delhi, the company announced the Moto X Style for the Indian market at a price tag of Rs. 29,999 in an exclusive collaboration with Flipkart.




To recap, the Moto X Style was unveiled in July along with the Moto X Play and Moto G (third generation). Motorola had already announced the Moto X Play in India at a price tag of Rs. 18,499. The device will be available in Black and White color variants, priced at Rs. 29,999 (16GB variant) and Rs. 31,999 (32GB variant). The phone will be up for sale on Flipkart from October 14.

Coming on to the specifications, the Moto X Style comes with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, and is powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and comes in 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage variants, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. In the imaging department, the device sports a 21-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording capability, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery with turbo-charging technology. The phone has a water-repellent nano-coating on the surface that keeps it safe from water damage.
