Motorola is bringing Moto X Style and Moto X Play to India next month

Motorola unveiled the Moto G third-generation last month in India, and the device is presently on sale through Flipkart. The company held a big event in the United States to take the wraps off its major flagship, the Moto X. Now, Motorola is planning to bring one of Moto X's variants to India by September.

In an interview, Amit Boni, General Manager Motorola India, stated that the company has plans to bring the Moto X to India next month. He has not made it clear that which variant the company plans on launching. In the U.S, the company unveiled two variants of the Moto X, named as Moto X Play and Moto X Style.




Moto-X-Style-RearThe Moto X Style is a premium variant of the Moto X, it comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display, and is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

It has 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage options, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone sports a 21-megapixel camera on the rear along with a 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera, and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, and NFC.

On the other hand, the Moto X Play is a more feasible variant with a bigger battery of 3,630 mAh, which is touted by the company to last up to 48 hours on general usage. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display, and is powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone is available in 16GB/32GB internal storage options, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It sports a 21-megapixel camera on the rear with dual-CCT flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
