It has been an year since the release of the Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen), and it is high time for the company to release its successor. The Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) has been leaked a few times now, and this is the firs time that we have glanced upon its design.

According to an image of a dummy unit of the Moto G (3rd Gen) that was leaked by MobileSyrup, the device will feature 5-inch 720p HD display, a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, 4G LTE connectivity, and larger 2,470 mAh battery. The Moto G (3rd Gen) will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop pre-installed, and features a 13-megapixel primary camera as well as a 5-megapixel secondary camera.

Surprisingly, the device will also be a water-resistant device with an IPX7 rating that will keep the device safe even when submerged under water for up to a metre deep for as long as 30 minutes. Motorola is expected to officially announced the device on July 28. The images of the device were leaked last month, and was also listed by Flipkart way back in May.
