Lenovo-owned Motorola has just launched its 2017 Moto E series smartphone, the Moto E4 Plus, in India today. The phone had already been released in select global markets earlier in June, alongside the Moto E4. A first for the Moto E series, the Moto E4 Plus comes with a metal clad body giving a premium feel to it.

The price tag of the Moto E4 Plus had been kept in the dark despite several leaks and rumours surrounding the phone, prior to the release. However, the E4 Plus has been launched at Rs. 9,999, and you will be able to purchase the phone exclusively on Flipkart.
As for its specifications, the Moto E4 Plus features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass covering on top for screen protection. When it comes to the battery of the smartphone, the previous Moto E3 Plus packed a 3,500mAh battery with fast charging, but now in the E4 Plus, the company has upped the ante with a whopping 5,000mAh cell, equipped with 10W fast charging technology. This is more than enough to keep the phone running for days.
The home button of the E4 Plus doubles as a fingerprint sensor which is yet another first for the Moto E series. The device is internally powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset, clocked at 1.4GHz. The E4 Plus comes in a storage variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The storage of the device can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot if needed.
