For the last few weeks, Motorola is teasing a new battery centric smartphone launch in India, which is possibly the Moto E4 Plus. However, the company has silently launched the smaller variant of the E4 Plus, the Moto E4 in India. The Moto E4 is reportedly available to purchase via offline stores across the country for Rs. 8,999.

Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom has posted an unboxing video of the Moto E4, claiming that the phone is up for purchase for the said price. The Lenovo-owned company recently launched the Moto E4 and E4 Plus in other countries such as the Europe and the US with an affordable price tag.
However, the international variant of the phone arrived with Snapdragon 425 chipset, while the Indian variant has 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset, coupled with just 2GB of RAM. However, the standout aspects of the phone are the metal build and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the non-clickable home button.
The Moto E4 has a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, 2.5D curved glass, and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. The device comes with 16GB of internal storage, along with microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Motorola has added an 8MP primary camera to the phone with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash. The phone also has a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There are connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB port. The phone also has support for NFC.
