Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch listed on Flipkart for Rs. 17,999

One of the most awaited devices from Motorola, the Moto 360 has been listed on Flipkart along with its pricing details. It appears that the Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch will be launched in India for Rs. 17,999.

The Moto 360 is based on Google’s Android Wear platform which is designed specifically for wearable devices. It features a 1.56-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 290 pixels which is almost round, and replaceable leather strap. The display of the device is protected using Gorilla Glass 3 and the smartwatch is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance.

The Moto 360 is powered by a four year old TI 3630 processor, 512MB of RAM and has 4GB of ROM. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0 LE and is powered by a 320 mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities. It also includes optical heart-rate monitor and pedometer which can be used to track fitness of the user.

*17.5k for a smart watch are you kidding me Motorola? *If you ask me this smart watch ambition of Google will be a flop and the reason will be Google themselves. With Android for mobile Google wanted to be that hero who would allow anyone to do anything they want with a software. So apple must listen this call as they have done increasing screen size…now they should produce iphones with dual sims…kidding…ios 8 I can nly sayfor bsnl users dont update to ios 8 because after updating there is lot of network problem which 5c is facing with bsnl….I had complained to apple abt this dont know what they are going to do?…Also two or three days back a update of 8.0.2 has come dont know if this has solved the problem….But if iphone 6 comes at a price below 50k I will be the first buyers…i have fallen love with design… Read more »

*Actually I did mention about Apple watch in my comment but later on deleted that particular part of the comment. See I don’t know if Apple watch would be a hit or not but what I can say is that Apple never has to keep its OS open for tweaking and the reason being Apple can handle both hardware and software.
