The wait is finally over, Motorola is launching its much-awaited Moto X Style in India. As expected, the company has collaborated with Flipkart to sell the smartphone in India. Flipkart has already created the listing for the smartphone, and it will be up for sale from October 8.
To recap, the Moto X Style was unveiled in July along with the Moto X Play and Moto G (third generation). Motorola had already announced the Moto X Play in India at a price tag of Rs. 18,499. The company has not revealed the pricing of Moto X Style in India yet, but earlier reports indicated that it might be priced at Rs. 30,383. There are fair chances that Motorola might price it lesser than the rumored price.
Coming on to the specifications, the Moto X Style comes with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, and is powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and comes in 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage variants, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. In the imaging department, the device sports a 21-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording capability, along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery with turbo-charging technology. The phone has a water-repellent nano-coating on the surface that keeps it safe from water damage.
