Motorola C2 and C2 Plus Renders Reveal Similar Design as the Moto E4

Lenovo-owned Motorola earlier announced its Moto G6 series and is also preparing to launch next-gen Z series phone, the Moto Z3 Play. Now, the second generation of Moto C smartphones, the Moto C2 and Moto C2 Plus have appeared in online renders hinting their imminent release in upcoming days. The first ever renders give up a good look at the upcoming budget Moto C2 and C2 Plus smartphones. The second generation Moto C lineup closely resembles last year’s series overall with few noticeable design tweaks. Starting off the front, the budget smartphones stick with more traditional 16:9 displays with thick bezels surrounding them. This is in contrast to latest Moto smartphones series that come with trendy bezel-less design and tall displays.

The front panel design is similar on both Moto C2 and C2 Plus. Both the smartphones feature an in-ear speaker on the top of the display, alongside a selfie camera and LED flash. As mentioned, both the smartphones feature thick bezels on the front. While the Moto C2 houses Moto branding below the display, the Moto C2 Plus offers an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner. The Moto branding on the C2 Plus is placed above the display. These renders were first revealed by 91mobiles.

Moving on to the rear panels, both the devices have identical designs. The rear plastic shell is curved to the edges and is dominated by a large, circular camera module which retains the single camera sensor along with a dual-tone LED flash. Underneath the camera module is the Motorola batwing logo.
