Mobiistar Launches Five New Selfie-Centric Smartphones Exclusively for the Offline Market

Mobiistar today announced five new smartphones exclusively for the Indian offline market. All the five smartphones are aimed at selfie lovers. The five smartphones in question are Mobiistar C1 Lite, Mobiistar C1, Mobiistar C2, Mobiistar E1 Selfie and the premium Mobiistar X1 Dual. These smartphones are priced between Rs 4,000 to Rs 11,000, giving an option to consumers at every price point. Mobiistar, which entered the Indian market with a couple of online-only smartphones earlier this year is aiming to be part of top 5 smartphone brands in the affordable segment by the end of the year. Let's take a look at five smartphones in detail.

Mobiistar X1 Dual
The X1 Dual is the pricier one of all the five smartphones introduced by Mobiistar today. This device sports a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 720 X 1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device can be picked up in two colour options- Black and Blue and it comes with dual-SIM connectivity option. Mobiistar has used the MediaTek MT6737H chipset to power the X1 Dual. The chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

There's a microSD slot which accepts SD cards of up to 128GB. It's a quad-core chipset. The phone boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side, but the phone offers Face Unlock feature for those who want to unlock their smartphone without any hassle.

Mobiistar is touting the dual selfie cameras on the X1 Dual. The Mobiistar X1 Dual rocks two cameras of a 13MP primary shooter and an 8MP secondary wide-angle shooter on the front. The camera app offers a seven-level Beauty mode. On the rear side, there's a single 13MP shooter with face beauty, night mode function, HDR capture, Panorama, Professional mode and PDAF.

Mobiistar E1 Selfie
The Mobiistar E1 Selfie, on the other hand, comes with a single 13MP camera on the front and back. The E1 Selfie has a 5.45-inch IPS display carrying HD+ (720 x 1440) screen resolution. The E1 Selfie smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and again an expandable storage of up to 128 GB.

Mobiistar C2, C1 and C1 Lite
The C2 comes with an 8MP selfie camera and an 8MP rear camera. Both the front and rear cameras offer an LED flash. The Mobiistar C1 sports an 8MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera. The C1 Lite offers a 5MP front and rear camera. The C2, C1 and C1 Lite are all equipped with 5.34 inches IPS display and FWVGA+ (480 x 960 ) screen resolution. The C1 and C2 come with 2GB RAM each and 16GB ROM with an expandable storage of 128GB. The C1 Lite comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and expandable memory of 128GB.

Mobiistar stated that all the five phones come with Full View display and a 2.75D curved screen, except the E1 Selfie which features a 2.5D curved glass. The five phones will be available in Blue, Black and Gold colour options. Except for the C1 Lite, all the four phones offer Face Unlock feature.

Mobiistar has equipped the X1 Dual, E1 Selfie, C1 and C2 smartphones with dual hybrid SIM slots while the C1 Lite comes with a dual SIM slot and a dedicated micro SD card slot. This will allow users to run both SIM cards and microSD card simultaneously.

On the battery front, the X1 Dual, E1 Selfie, C1 and C2 have 3000mAh battery, the C1 Lite comes with a 2700mAh unit.

Mobiistar X1 Dual, E1 Selfie, C1, C2 and C1 Lite Pricing and Availability
The Mobiistar C1 Lite will be available for purchase at Rs 4,340, followed by the Mobiistar C1 at Rs 5,400. The Mobiistar C2 can be picked up from any retail store near you for Rs 6,300. The E1 Selfie and X1 Dual will be available for grabs at Rs 8,400 and Rs 10,500 respectively. Mobiistar confirmed that all the five devices would be available for purchase starting August 1.
