Micromax Canvas Unite 2 starts getting Android Lollipop

Micromax is taking quite a few steps to get into the good books of its current and prospective customers. It has just started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update via the OTA (Over-The-Air) route for the Canvas Unite 2 users. The update was due back in April but has now started rolling out. It’s better late than never to roll out a software update.

The update brings with it the Material Design UI with better animations, notifications, battery optimisations, better security, improved Quick settings, better share, a way better experience with ART (Android Run Time), support for more languages and a better experience on the whole.

The size of the update is 412.94MB. You will get the information for it as soon as it becomes available for you and you can then download it. Just in case you are too eager to get the update, you can to Settings, then the About Phone tab and press Software update to manually check for the update.
