Micromax to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Unite 2 on April 7

Micromax has revealed the Android 5.0 Lollipop update release timeline for Unite 2 smartphone in India. It will be an over-the-air (OTA) update, which will be initiated on April 7, 2015.

Micromax Unite 2It will be automatically available on the Unite 2 devices, but, in order to start it manually, users will be required to go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update. The company has not yet shared any information regarding change-log for the update. However, we can expect the general Lollipop changes, such as, better UI , improved notifications, enhanced performance, longer battery-life, and many more.

Micromax has also announced that the Unite 2 is one of their most successful device. The company has sold over 1.5 million units of the phone within a year from its launch.

Micromax said in its press release, “Launched with the aim to remove the language barrier in the country, Unite 2 was the world’s first phone with 21 languages support. The sale figure of the smartphone highlights the need of our masses for a more efficient technological experience which gives them the freedom to communicate through their phones in the comfort of their native language,”

It’s been a month ,but i didn’t get the lollipop update till now???.
Why is this happening??

I updated my unite2 to lollipop at micromax care and now it gives 5gb for app so go at your nearest service center and update it to lollipop don’t wait for OTA update
