Xiaomi to Launch 65-inch Mi TV With Netflix in Upcoming Event

Xiaomi India is looking towards a massive event in the second half of September. The brand has already launched some of the most awaited smartphones of this year which include the Redmi Note 7 series, Mi A3 and the Redmi K20 Pro. Now it is finally time for Xiaomi to debut its other devices which include Mi TV and other gadgets. We have already seen a few hints from Xiaomi regarding what it is going to launch on the September 17, Smart Living event. But, it seems that the stream of teasers is not stopping any time soon as Xiaomi is building the hype for its new launches. In a new teaser uploaded by Xiaomi Global VP and India Head, Manu Kumar Jain, we get to know some more information about the launch of the latest Mi TV. Here are the details that you should know.




Mi TV to Finally Come in 65-inch Variant

The new tweet from the Xiaomi executive reads, “Mi fans, I can't wait to unveil the gorgeous new #MiTV from @MiTVIndia! The biggest & best Mi TV in India yet. RT with #MiTV & #SmarterLiving & tell me why do you love India's No. 1 smart TV brand. '65',000 RTs & I will reveal it before the launch. #Xiaomi” Accompanying this tweet is also a video which gives us a very quick sneak peek into the new Xiaomi Mi TV. The video also reveals that the Mi TV that is going to debut on the September 17 event is going to be the biggest model yet that Xiaomi has introduced as part of its TV lineup in India. This could mean only one thing that Xiaomi is finally launching a 65-inch Mi TV in India. The "65,000" figure also hints towards this variant of the Mi TV.

Also, in the video, Manu Kumar Jain has said that if the video gets 65,000 retweets, then he will do a full unveiling of the Mi TV before the launch. Although reaching the massive figure might seem like a long shot, Xiaomi has undoubtedly built the hype about the new Mi TV with this new video and its previous teasers.

Xiaomi Mi TV to Come With Netflix

In another tweet, the Mi TV India official twitter handle has also hinted a new thing. This tweet reads, "Kabhi kabhi lagta hai apun hi bhagwaan hai. Dropping the biggest hint of the season. Turn up the volume and listen to this. Tell us your guess with #MiTV in comments. Unveiling on September 17. #SmarterLiving 2020.” If you are a Netflix fan, then you likely know what the tweet means, but for the rest, this is a clear hint that the new Mi TV is going to come with Netflix pre-installed. The video accompanied with the tweet also comes with the Netflix intro sound, confirming that the new Mi TV will debut with the Netflix app. Xiaomi had already announced its plans of doing this, but with this new launch, this plan will finally materialise. On the September 17 event, Xiaomi is also going to the launch the Mi Band 4 in India which has already launched in China.
