Xiaomi is all set to introduce a new Mi TV in India on September 17. The Chinese company has started sending media invites for an ecosystem event to be held on September 17. Also, the official Mi India Twitter handle has posted an image of the invite, which says ‘Smarter Living 2020,’ highlighting the company may even introduce other smart home products in the country. Exactly a year ago in September 2018, Xiaomi held a similar ecosystem products launch in India where it unveiled three Mi TVs and the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. At the upcoming event on September 17, we’re expecting the Chinese company to launch the Mi Band 4 in India as the product has been launched in China more than a month ago. It will be interesting to see what other smart home products Xiaomi will bring to India besides the new Mi TV.

New Xiaomi Mi TV Launching in India on September 17
As you can see, the invite clearly has a television, hinting at the launch of a new Mi TV model in the country. At the Redmi Note 8 series launch in China last month, Redmi unveiled its first-ever Smart TV, called Redmi TV with a massive 70-inch screen. Soon after the launch, Redmi officially confirmed the 70-inch Redmi TV would reach the Indian market, but the officials confirmed that it might take some time for the company, considering regulatory approvals. So, we’re not expecting the 70-inch Redmi TV to make its debut in India at the September 17 event, instead, it could be an upgrade to the company’s 55-inch Mi TVs.
