Merely a week ago, Xiaomi unveiled its much awaited Mi 4i smartphone in India and today, it was available through flash sale on Flipkart. The first flash sale attracted 3 lakh registrations and 40,000 units of the device were sold in just 15 seconds today on Flipkart at 2PM.

Until now, Xiaomi has only listed the White variant of the Mi 4i, but the company has plans to introduce pink, blue, and yellow color variants as well.
As a flashback, Mi 4i was unveiled in India for a price of Rs. 12,999. It comes with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and is powered by a second generation octa-core Snadpragon 615 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Xiaomi’s in-house MIUI v6 on top. There is 16GB of internal storage on-board and the device is backed by a 3,120 mAh battery.
The device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with two-tone LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front camera. The Mi 4i has 4G LTE connectivity with support for Indian bands on both the SIM cards.
Moreover, the registrations for the second flash sale will kick off at 6PM today, and the sale will be held on May 7th.
