LYF Flame 3 finally goes official with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, priced at Rs. 3,999

We reported earlier about a new LYF smartphone listen on HomeShop 18. Turns out, it was the new LYF Flame 3, which is now launched officially. The device has been priced at Rs. 3,999 and will be exclusively up for sale via HomeShop 18.

The LYF Flame 3 has debuted a few weeks after the release of Flame 2 and Wind 4 smartphones by LYF. To recap, the Flame 2 and Wind 4 smartphones retail at Rs. 4,799 and Rs. 6,799 respectively.

Coming on to the specs offered by the Flame 3, one of the biggest highlight is that it supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility. In terms of 4G LTE compatibility, the device supports FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The Flame 3 is a dual-SIM smartphone featuring a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and LYF touts that both the SIM slots provided in the device are 4G enabled, but only one SIM can be used for 4G service at a time. The device comes powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core chipset coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card).

In the imaging department, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel selfie camera. Other connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It is backed by a 1700mAh battery and will be up for sale in Grey color option.
