LG has added two more smartphones to its “X-men-inspired” X-series - the LG X5 and X Skin. For now, these devices have been launched in South Korea, we expect LG will soon launch them in other regions.
LG X5 sports a 5.5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage is around 16GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The X5 boasts a 13MP camera in the rear with LED flash. In the front, there is a 5MP selfie-snapper. In terms of connectivity, X5 supports 4G LTE, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and Micro-USB. It’s a dual SIM smartphone.
On the other hand, the X-Style, also known as X-Skin is also released in S. Korea. It bears similar features housed in X5, but differs in a few specifications. Unlike 5.5-inch display of X5, LG X-Style features a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display and packs 1.5GB of RAM. The rear camera is that of 8MP with LED flash and is backed by a 2100mAh battery.
LG X5 will be available in White and Black color variants and is priced at SKW 200,000 (approx. Rs. 11,700). LG X Style, on the other hand, is priced at SKW 231,000 (approximately Rs. 13,500) and will be available in Gold and Titanium colors. The company is yet to reveal the international availability of these smartphones.
