LG had showcased the G Flex in India back in December last year with a promise to launch the same in February. The same has now got itself an official price tag on the company's website and it stands at Rs 69,999, making it the most expensive smartphone one sale. The same is available on leading e-commerce retailers. Let us have a brief look at its specifications:
- 6 inch curved Plastic-OLED display with 720p resolution
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
- 2.26 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad core processor
- 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage
- No expandable memory
- 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and it teams up with a 2.1 MP front camera
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 3G HSPA+ and GPS with A-GPS
- 3,500 mAh non removable battery
LG seems to have launched a really good device (there's no other curved display device on sale in India) but the same runs on 4.2 Jelly Bean when Android 4.4 KitKat is here. It seems grossly overpriced at Rs 69,999 and would have made more sense for Rs 39,999. Will you go in for it? I'd suggest otherwise.
