Lenovo has just announced that it will be upgrading its Vibe X and Vibe Z flagship devices to Android 4.4 KitKat by the end of May. The company has also released the official changelogs of the update for both the devices.
The KitKat update for the Vibe X will bring a revamped UI, security enhancements, camera and bug fixes. The camera will be updated for a better auto focus and white balance for better images. Power management abilities of the device will be enhanced too and the device will be making use of the battery more efficiently. The devices has also got itself a price cut from Rs 25,999 to Rs 22,999.
The Lenovo Vibe Z will get an overhauled UI too and will get better multi-window management too. The biggest change will come in the video playback department as it will get better 4K video playback ability. You'll get better notification access, wireless printing capability, new theme centre and automatic profile changer.
The two devices haven't been stellar performers but given the fact that they'll be updated, consumers might just start trusting the Chinese smartphone maker a lot more and go in for these.
