The much-awaited Moto G4 and G4 Plus have been made official. These two are the first smartphones by "Lenovo Moto". This time around the display size has grown as the G4 features 5.5-inch 1080p screen, much better than its predecessors Moto G3 and G2. Same goes for the processing power, which is now powered by a higher-end Snapdragon chipset.

Both the variants are better from their last year models in the imaging and storage department as well, but the design does not look appealing enough. The Moto G4 Plus is a top-end variant of the series, similar to the "Turbo" variant of the last year's Motorola Moto G3.

As expected, both the devices run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But the fingerprint sensor is only available on the G4 Plus. Both the devices will be up for sale in Black and White color options. The 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant of the Moto G4 Plus is priced at Rs. 13,499 while the 3GB RAM/32GB variant will retail at Rs. 14,999. The Moto G4 Plus is set to go on sale exclusively via Amazon, tonight. Lenovo has not yet revealed the pricing for the Moto G4, but it will go on sale in June.
