Lenovo K8 Note Receives a Much-Needed Price Cut; Prices Now Start at Rs 11999

Those looking for a budget smartphone may seriously want to consider Lenovo K8 Note. The smartphone that was first launched in August this year has now got a price cut of Rs 1000, which makes it one of the strong contenders for the best budget smartphone to purchase right now.

Originally going for Rs 12999 for 3GB RAM version and Rs 13999 for 4GB RAM, Lenovo’s K8 Note is now on sale for Rs 11999 and 12999 in the country. The smartphone is available exclusively on India’s Amazon online store and comes in Fine Gold and Venom Black hues.

Interestingly, the K8 Note can be availed with No Cost EMI option. You can buy the device in 3/6/9 monthly instalments at zero extra charges with your credit card. In addition, Idea Cellular is offering unlimited calls and internet pack with 64GB 4G data for the validity of 56 days at Rs 343.

Lenovo K8 Note Features & Specs

For those unaware, the Lenovo K8 Note features a metallic unibody made from Aluminum 6000. The device weighs 180grams and has dimensions of 154.5x75.9x8.5mm. A water-repelling nano-coating on the body makes K8 Note a splash resistant device.

Upfront, the device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with (1080x1920 pixels) resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, a 64 bit MediaTek Helio X23 chipset- a deca-core chipset with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz and another four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.85GHz, and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz backed by 3GB/4GB RAM power the device. The built-in storage of 32GB can be expanded via MicroSD card.

Much like the newly launched smartphones, Lenovo too packs dual camera setup in the K8 Note. The phone features a 13MP + 5MP sensors with dual tone flash in the rear along with 13MP front camera with party flash. For connectivity, the device packs all the options of Dual-SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB OTG along with sensors such as Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The K8 Note runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and also comes with Lenovo’s usual Theatermax tech and Dolby Atmos. The device packs a 4000mAh battery with quick charging support. A single charge can offer up to 24.7 hours of talk time and 378 hours of standby time. With decent specs for a budget smartphone, Lenovo’s K8 Note is a great pick for your normal use.
