Under the hood, the Lenovo K8 Note is powered by a 64-bit deca-core Helio X23 processor, clocked at 2.3GHz. The device is the first ever phone to feature the deca-core Helio X23 chipset, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The K8 Note has ditched the hybrid-card slot in favour of a dual-SIM arrangement and a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.

In terms of software, the Lenovo K8 Note runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat. One of the main highlights of the phone is that unlike other OEMs, it skips using their own skin on top and instead offers its users stock Android experience with Google Assistant, multi-window feature, and more.

The smartphone comes with added features like the Dolby ATMOS sound system, Theater Max mode for VR experience, and a dedicated music key that lets the user play/pause, forward, and rewind music. If not music, this particular multimedia key can also be assigned as a camera shutter key to capture photos, to switch on the flashlight, or as a shortcut to open certain apps.

As for the camera, the K8 Note boasts a dual camera combination of a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor on the rear. The company claims that this dual camera setup offers the bokeh effect and lets you take pro portrait shots as well. Up front, there is a 13MP wide-angle camera with F/2.0 aperture, pro mode, beautify mode and front flash for photography in low-light conditions.
