Samsung Galaxy M30s has been in the news for a while, but only the model number of the smartphone was leaked until this point. However, a new report has now revealed the complete spec-sheet of the upcoming Galaxy M30s and Samsung India also started teased the smartphone officially. Going by the leaked specs, the Galaxy M30S will pack a 6000mAh battery, something which we haven't seen from a mainstream manufacturer before. Asus used a 6000mAh battery unit on the ROG Phone 2, but it was a dedicated gaming smartphone and a flagship smartphone as well. We don't often see smartphones with 6000mAh battery, but Samsung seems to be doing it with the Galaxy M30s. To recall, Gionee was another smartphone brand which used to launch smartphones with such massive batteries back in 2014 and 2015.

Samsung Galaxy M30s: Leaked Specifications Detailed

The Galaxy M30s will bear the SM-M307F model number and SamMobile has managed to get the full spec-sheet of the smartphone. The successor to the Galaxy M30, the M30s will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display on the front with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The Galaxy M30 arrived with a Super AMOLED display, so it will be interesting to see whether Samsung uses an AMOLED panel on the Galaxy M30s.

Underneath, the Galaxy M30s will come with Exynos 9610 chipset which was also used on the Galaxy A50 and Motorola One Vision smartphones. The phone will arrive in two variants- 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB, along with a microSD card slot.

The Galaxy M30s will also pack upgraded triple rear cameras with the primary sensor being a 48MP one with f/2.0 aperture. Other two sensors on the M30s will be a 5MP depth shooter and the last one will be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It will be interesting to see whether Samsung uses Sony IMX586 sensor on the Galaxy M30s or 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor. The M30s will likely pack a 16MP shooter on the front as well.

Samsung is also upgrading the battery capacity on the M30s compared to its predecessor. The Galaxy M30s will pack a massive 6000mAh battery which will last longer than the Galaxy M30 that featured a 5000mAh battery. That being said, the report says Samsung may not include any fast charging support on the M30s, so the charging time from 0% to 100% will take longer. The phone will also run Android 9 Pie out of the box and it will have OneUI on top.

Samsung Galaxy M30s Launch Date Yet to Be Revealed

The Galaxy M30s has been making rounds on the web for more than two months. With the full spec-sheet of the handset now coming out, we can expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy M30s in the next few weeks. Also, Samsung India has officially started teasing the big battery on the M30s, so the launch is surely around the corner.

The upcoming Galaxy M30s will take on the Realme 5 Pro, upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and Honor 9X series in India.
