JioPhone Next is all set to arrive in the market on September 10, 2021. The rumours about its specifications and price have been going on the internet since the day the device was announced at the annual general meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). Now, as per other reports online, the JioPhone Next might be available for only 10% of its cost to the users when it launches. JioPhone Next Might Come for Only Rs 500

The JioPhone Next might be available for Indian users for only Rs 500 when it launches. According to an ET Now report, the company is planning to sell 50 million units of the smartphone in the coming 6 months. To sell at such a big magnitude, the company is planning to partner with IDFC First Assure, DMI Finance, Piramal Capital, and the State Bank of India (SBI).

As per the publication’s report, the JioPhone Next might launch in two variants. The first variant, which will be the basic one, is expected to be priced at around Rs 5,000, while the superior variant is expected to be priced at Rs 7,000.

But how does this help you purchase the smartphone for Rs 500? Well, going by the report, the smartphone will be available at 10% of its cost at the time of the purchase. The rest of the amount can be paid by the users when in the form of easy EMIs. On top of this, the report mentions that Reliance Jio has also signed credit support deals with the non-banking finance companies (NBFCs) that is worth Rs 2,500 crores.

The smartphone is expected to run on Android 11 Go Edition out of the box and come with a 2,500mAh battery with a single rear camera. The smartphone is expected to go for pre-bookings from this week.
