The phone sports a Spreadtrum processor paired with 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. The phone comes with dual-SIM slot and a microSD card as well for expanding the storage.

At this price range, the JioPhone 2 does come with cameras, but one could say they are for the namesake as it sports a feature-phone like, 2MP rear camera and a front 0.3MP camera for selfies. The phone comes powered by 2,000mAh battery and connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, 4G VoLTE, and an LED torch. On the software front, the JioPhone 2 comes with KaiOS and can run apps like Maps, search etc. Soon the phone is expected to get support for WhatsApp and YouTube as well.

The JioPhone 2 is priced higher than the last generation JioPhone, and this new device retails for Rs 2,999. Right now, there is no offer or cashback on the JioPhone 2, and additionally, buyers will have to pay Rs 99 extra as shipping charges when they buy the JioPhone 2.
