When thinking about the broadband sector of India, what a lot of people overlook is the fact that the largest and the most extensive broadband network of India is controlled by the state-led telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). However, because of the JioFiber hype, the telco has been seeing a reduced interest from the customers. But, that does not mean that the attractive of the BSNL broadband plans has gone any low. The state-led telco has been shipping many luring plans under Bharat Fibre, and in fact, BSNL is the telco which currently commands the lowest per GB rate when it comes to wired broadband connections. Recently, BSNL had changed its broadband portfolio, thus dropping some old plans and introducing new plans. But, what a lot of people might have missed is that one of the older BSNL broadband plans has made a comeback. Let us indulge in you in some more details about the same.

BSNL 500GB CUL Rs 777 Broadband Plan Details

The broadband plan that we are talking about here is the Rs 777 broadband plan by BSNL. To recall, in its previous to the broadband portfolio, BSNL had changed the Rs 777 broadband plan to Rs 849 plan, and the Rs 777 broadband plan was taken off the shelves. As a result, the BSNL broadband portfolio had the Rs 849 plan as its cheapest offering since June. But, in a new turn of events, now the Rs 777 broadband plan has made a comeback in its original form, but there is a little catch.

Before the revision, the Rs 777 BSNL broadband plan used to offer 500GB data with 50 Mbps speed in a month. The after-FUP speed of this plan was 2 Mbps. It is worth noting that the arrival of the Rs 849 plan had also meant the shelving of this Rs 777 plan. But, currently, that is not the case as both of the plans exist simultaneously on the BSNL roster right now. There is one thing, however, that people should keep in mind and that is about the promotional offer of the Rs 777 broadband plan. Also, another notable thing is that the plan is available in all circles except the Andaman and Nicobar circle.

Promotional Offer on Rs 777 Broadband Plan Explained

The Rs 777 broadband plan by BSNL has been availed to the interested subscribers under a promotional offer, and this promotional offer means that the Rs 777 broadband plan or the 500GB CUL plan will only be available for a period of six months. This entails that subscribers interested in getting the Rs 777 broadband plan by BSNL can do so right now, but they will be able to get 500GB data per month with 50 Mbps speed for six months only, after this period, the subscribers will have to switch to the Rs 849 plan. The Rs 849 per month plan offers 600GB data at the same 50 Mbps speed and an after FUP speed of 2 Mbps.
