It is worth noting here that Meta has a 10% stake in Reliance Jio. This deal between Jio and Reliance happened in 2020 and since then, both companies have collaborated to bring e-commcerce services into WhatsApp. Neither of the companies would comment anything official at the moment as the talks are ongoing.
