Reliance Jio offers its fiber-based wired broadband services under the JioFiber brand in India. The service is available in both postpaid and prepaid segments for users. Previously, we learned about all the AirFiber plans, and now let’s look at what Jio is offering in its Fiber segment. Interestingly, Jio does not mention the number of cities where its Fiber services are available on its website as of this writing.

According to Jio, its JioFiber plans provide users with digital benefits, including a FREE 4K set-top box, on-demand TV with over 550 channels, and superfast symmetrical internet with speeds up to 1,000 Mbps. Jio also offers two ISD packs for its JioFiber customers: Rs 502 and Rs 501. The Rs 501 plan offers ISD talk time of up to 1500 minutes with a validity of 30 days, while the Rs 502 plan comes with Rs 424.58 of ISD talk time and 50MB of data, valid for 28 days. The monetary value in the ISD Combo Pack can only be used for making ISD calls as per applicable tariffs and sending ISD SMS at Rs 5 per SMS.

For its JioFiber postpaid users, Jio offers two introductory data packs. The Rs 555 pack, valid for one billing cycle, offers an additional 1000GB of data at base plan speed and then reverts to 64 Kbps. Likewise, the Rs 1555 pack, valid for one billing cycle, offers an additional 3000GB of data at base plan speed and then also reverts to 64 Kbps.

JioFiber Backup Plan

For those looking for an alternative secondary internet connection as a backup, Jio offers a Backup plan. The 10 Mbps backup plan is priced at Rs 398 per month and has a billing cycle of 5 months. The plan totalling Rs 1990 with a validity of 5 months, includes unlimited data at 10 Mbps symmetrical speeds, free voice service, and access to over 800 on-demand TV channels.

According to Jio, a commercial usage policy is applicable to all unlimited plans, and GST is additional on these plans. Currently, Jio is running a Diwali Dhamaka offer for its JioFiber postpaid users for plans in the 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps segments.
