The entry-level AirFiber plan is the Rs 599 plan, available in 3, 6, and 12-month durations for new customers. Charges Calculation:
For ease of understanding, here’s a breakdown of the charges if you opt for a 30 Mbps plan for 3 months (Quarterly). If you choose the Rs 599 plan, the total cost for 3 months will be Rs 1,797 + GST (Rs 599 * 3). The same applies to the Semi-Annual and Annual plans. However, for the 12-month (Annual) plan, Jio is currently offering 30 days of extra validity on both the Rs 599 and Rs 888 plans.
Jio AirFiber 100 Mbps Plans
For those interested in the 100 Mbps plan, the entry-level option is the Rs 899 plan, available in 3, 6, and 12-month durations for new customers. Jio AirFiber Max 1 Gbps Plans
The highest-priced option in the Jio AirFiber segment is the 1 Gbps plan, priced at Rs 3,999. It is available in 3, 6, and 12-month durations for new customers. This plan includes 1000GB of data, speeds up to 1 Gbps, free voice service, and over 800 on-demand TV channels. The OTT entertainment benefits are the same as the 300 Mbps plan, with Netflix Premium included.
Data Sachet Packs for Extra Usage
If you exhaust the data bundled with your chosen plan, Jio offers Data Sachet packs for top-ups. Currently, Jio provides three options:
– Rs 401 pack for 1000GB (1TB)
– Rs 251 pack for 500GB
– Rs 101 pack for 100GB of high-speed data
GST is extra on all packs, and the validity matches that of your active plan. After the high-speed data is used, unlimited usage at 64 Kbps is available.
Entertainment Features with Jio AirFiber
The Jio AirFiber service includes an all-in-one pack with 800+ digital TV channels across 14+ regional languages such as Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Punjabi.
Jio says with Jio AirFiber, you can access up to 17 popular OTT apps like Netflix, JioCinema, SonyLIV, Zee5, SunNxt, and Disney+ Hotstar. The service also comes with a 4K smart STB, converting any TV into a Smart TV, allowing you to watch TV channels, OTTs, movies, and YouTube. Users can also install the JioTV+ app on TVs and enjoy live TV on two Smart TVs without extra fees or an additional STB.
Installation
AirFiber installation is free with an annual plan. However, Jio charges Rs 500 for semi-annual plans and Rs 1,000 for 3-month plans. The Wi-Fi router, 4K UHD Smart STB, and voice-activated remote are included at no extra cost.
