In the meeting, the alliance presented a series of in-depth action plans for 6G technology. The minister and the secretary showcased presentations from the chairpersons of each alliance's working group.

"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi Ji, India has transformed from a slow technology adopter to a leader. For the unaware, the seven working groups are device technologies, spectrum, use cases, standards, green and sustainability, RAN and core networks, AI and sensing, and security. With these presentations, the alliance showcased India's advancements in areas such as RAN technology, innovative applications across sectors like smart cities, health, agriculture; and intelligent networks for rural connectivity.

The government wants India to take a lead in 6G technology development. For that, India has also signed several MoUs (memorandum of understanding) with other countries to boost research and development in the area.
