Idea Prepaid Plan of Rs 1,999 Will Get You 1.5GB Daily Data for 365 Days With Unlimited Calling

Ever since the merger of the companies, we have seen a lot of new introductions from Vodafone Idea. Vodafone customers especially have enjoyed a slew of new prepaid plans, whether it is about internet packs, long term offers or merely the combined offerings. Idea has also been emphasising on its postpaid and prepaid plans. Until a few months back, long term recharges were all the craze and we saw Vodafone launch a new prepaid plan of Rs 1,999 on the same lines. Similarly, in April the telecom operator had launched the Rs 999 prepaid plan which came with a long-term validity. Now, Idea has introduced these two plans in its prepaid portfolio as well.

Idea Rs 999 and Rs 1,999 Prepaid Plan Details

The first newly introduced plan in the Idea prepaid portfolio is the Rs 999 prepaid plan which comes with 365 days validity. This plan from Idea offers 12GB data for the entire validity period meaning that the plan will be more suited for subscribers who don’t use a lot of data and would like to rely on voice. In addition to this, the plan also offers unlimited, local, STD and roaming calls with 100 SMSes per day. The crucial thing to note here is that just like the plan from Vodafone which retails at the same price and offers the same benefit, this prepaid plan is valid in Punjab circle only.

The next plan in the Idea prepaid roster is the Rs 1,999 prepaid plan for subscribers which also offers the validity of 365 days. This plan from Idea offers 1.5GB daily 4G/3G/2G data along with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. The plan also bundles 100 SMS per day just like other Idea prepaid plans. The Rs 1,999 prepaid plan from Idea, similar to Vodafone, is currently limited to Kerala circle. The company has not yet announced when we might get to see both of these prepaid plans on a pan-India basis.
