However, these new plans don't match with the other prepaid tariff plans available from Idea Cellular and other telcos. The Rs 998 prepaid plan gives unlimited voice calls, 5GB of 4G/2G data and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Also, Idea Cellular is limiting the voice calls to 100 unique numbers per week, 1000 minutes per week and 250 minutes per day. Post these limitations, voice calls will be charged at the standard rates.

There's no reason for the company to launch these plans, however, they're now official, and interested customers can recharge with these plans. Also, both the plans are valid for Idea Magic cashback offer, under which the telco is giving back up to Rs 3,300 worth benefits for all the customers.
