Whether it is about design, performance of power, the Mate 20 Pro presents a strong front everywhere. Not only that, the phone is capable enough to go against the other premium phones like Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Apple iPhone XS Max. The highlights of the phone include the triple rear camera setup, in-display fingerprint scanner and a powerful Kirin 980 chipset. Below we have outlined the top five features of the latest Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Triple Rear Camera Setup

The triple rear camera setup on the Mate 20 Pro is genuinely distinct from the triple rear camera which we get to see on other smartphones these days. The cameras come arranged in a square transformation, and the setup consists of a 20MP sensor for super wide shots, a 40MP shooter with a conventional wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto shooter. Completing the entire setup is the adaptive dual tone flash unit. Also, Huawei’s long-exposure shot mode and other aperture shifting option which we get to see on the P20 Pro also make their way to this new flagship.

Running on 7nm Kirin 980 SoC

This feature of the phone is what makes it a genuinely stellar offering by Huawei. On paper, the Kirin 980 crafted with the 7nm process surpasses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which we get to see on a lot of flagships. The Mate 20 Pro promises of 20% speed improvement, 45% boost in graphics and 40% overall improved efficiency. Under the hood, this chipset comes paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Besides, the phone also comes with dual neural engines which assist the processor in AI and ML-based functions like camera AI capabilities, real-time video processing and object recognition.

An Attractive Design

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro unlike some of the other performers out there, also comes with a stunning design. The screen on this device is a 6.39-inch Quad HD+ OLED display, and the phone features an all-glass design with a new ridged finish called Hyper Optical Pattern. This pattern makes the phone’s backside less prone to fingerprints and much more comfortable to hold. The handset also comes with an IP68 rating thus proving it to be dust and water resistance and the phone also comes in various options like black and midnight blue.

In-Display Fingerprint Sensor and 3D Face Unlock

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has also been claimed to come with a 3D Face Unlock technology like we get to see on the Apple iPhone X. As per the company’s assertion, this face unlock will not be fooled by your picture as it is made possible by the combination of the 24MP sensor with the dot projector, a TOF proximity sensor, a flood illuminator, and an IR camera. However, Huawei hasn’t limited the users to a single security option but is also shipping the phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Fast and Reverse Charging Capabilities

The Mate 20 Pro rocks the 4,200mAh battery under the hood which comes with fast charging support. What’s more is that the phone also supports wireless fast charging, which has been claimed to be twice as fast as the iPhone XS Max. There is also a futuristic tech embossed on the Mate 20 Pro which makes it capable of charging Qi-compatible devices by keeping them on the phone’s rear.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been given a price tag of Rs 69,990, and it will go on sale on Amazon for Prime members on December 3rd and for the rest of the buyers on December 4th. As part of this offering, Huawei is also shipping Sennheiser headphones with the phone worth Rs 21,990. However, buyers can get this combo in just Rs 71,990. Further, in the coming months, Huawei has teased a launch for more of its products in the coming months.
